Powweb Sucks

My site was down (for four days) earlier this week and it’s forced me to hosting providers to HostGator. It was a referral from an old school friend of mine, Dimitri Vasdekis who runs a quality headphones store from his home at HeadSonic. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

As for Powweb (which sucks), I guess I can’t expect too much from a hosting provider, but four days worth of downtime for my little site is just unacceptable. To make things worse, their response to my query about their downtime, only took them two and a half days to fully address. I’ll let you know when I’ve switched over to HostGator - such anticipation. I’ll be glad to get away from all the MySQL errors, Internal Server errors and general slow speed on their plan.

Apparently this is a result of overselling their plan. It doesn’t surprise me with the amount of promotions they encouraged their users to do - I also never received my bonus credit for the promo I did not that I’d like to continue with Powweb anyway.
