Late yesterday dedicated service provider Rackspace filed for IPO. This is the first major web hostig initial public offering filing Godaddy filed for IPO back in 2006 and then later that year decided to pull their IPO.
Rackspace as you might have seen in their fanatical service ads is a very large and reputable dedicated service provider out of San Antonio Texas and they have offices in the United States (obviously) and the U.K.
This is great news for the web hosting industry and means that despite our current recession that the web hosting and internet markets are continuing to grow.
Good luck to Rackspace in their IPO.
