my site? (sneak peek)?

Here’s a sneak peek at my new site, hopefully it’s going to be HUGE! But I need your help!

Take a look at it and tell me what you think of it so far. I’m still working out some bugs and such, but let me know what you think of the layout and content. Any suggestions would be take a bit to load, you might want to get hosting, especially if you think it is going to be big.

To be honest your site looks like a1000000’s of others just like it that have been popping up on the net for that past 2 years. Try something a little more unique if you want to ‘make it big’.

good luck

I just checked on his site and it does not seem to exist any more, I hope I was not too hard on him….

We had a member contact us in regards to www.HostGator.com web hosting. As all reviews we carefully research the matter fully. After the member forwarded the email to us from hostgator in regards to a support issue that our member had. They wrongfully crawled his entire site with no reason at all.

The member was using no resources that would cause issues with the machine, he was using a lot of bandwidth though since the was using it for what Half Life gamers call server redirect so that when people visited his game servers that would download the map from his website. Being that his game server (Condition Zero) is number 1 in the United States and number 2 in the world website at http://www.NoLimitCS.com, I am sure that he was using a lots of bandwidth. Well reading the emails from what was said from the support staff of www.HostGator.com and from our member. The conclusion basically looks as if they needed to find some reason to close his account finding some fine print in their TOS.

The emails from www.HostGator.com were very unprofessional I can tell you by reading them. It was an attitude as, we have so many customers, we do not care attitude. They suspended his site, leaving the member unaccessible to retrieve his files.

If you are looking for a terrible web host, then by all means. Visit www.HostGator.com

Last week Yahoo! announced they were officially shutting down their music download store, Yahoo! Music Unlimited, and rolling all current subscribers to Rhapsody. Yes, Yahoo! had a music download store. Of course you haven’t heard of it, that’s why they are shutting it down.

The problem is the hosting their DRM protected music will go off line in about 60 days, making music you’ve legally purchased inaccessible. Then they wonder why we like Limewire.

Seriously? People actually bought music from Yahoo! Music Unlimited?

Apparently so and now they are really pissed off. If this was two hundred years ago I can only imagine the locals grabbing their pitch forks and mobbing Yahoo! headquarters. (I’m channeling that scene in Frankenstein when the town storms the castle to capture the monster.) Instead people turned to the millennium equivalent; they got lawyers.

Now, upon request (yes, you must request) users can get coupons that allow them to re-download their music using Rhapsody’s new MP3 music store (which is a pretty decent store). There all tracks are free of digital rights management (DRM) and can be played, accessed and transferred to an infinite number of devices and computers.

On the whole it’s not a bad deal for the user; they are trading their protected WMA music for unprotected MP3 music at a higher bit rate for free. iTunes charges $.30 per track for this option. This is just one more nail in the DRM coffin.

Speaking of iTunes, what happens if, for whatever reason, iTunes has to shut down their servers? How many of you have bought FairPlay DRM protected songs from them?

You can check out how the other music download services rank or even see music reviews here on TopTenREVIEWS.
