This is a bluehost question posted by mesostructure on 30 October 2008
My company is a customer of BH, both domain and content hosting.
I was asked to create subdomain for our site however the content is stored in the server located in our company office.
i.e.
We have domain www.abcde.com registered in BH; all company-related pages are stored in BHI need to create subdomain inventory.abcde.com, and it will point to a static IP aa.bb.cc.dd. This IP is provided by our ISP.
I know I can create a sub-domain redirect to http://aa.bb.cc.dd. However it will look pretty odd for our customers. We want all the pages have the URL with abcde.com.
Is it possible to do under the cpanel or it requires additional services ?
