Valla susto que me dieron anoche los de HostGator. En estos días Republica Dominicana, esta pasando por una precariedad con la energia electrica, estamos sufriendo apagones de mas de 8 horas. Es por esto que el blog ha estado un poco abandonado, pero ese no es el tema del que te quiero hablar en esta entrada. Volviendo al tema.

Ayer en la noche cuando me dispongo a actualizar el blog noto algo muy estraño, veo que el theme de mi blog no carga completamente y mi cuenta da error al logearse… intento entrar al cpanel parar ver si ahi problemas con el MySQL o con el Apache y tampoco puedo acceder. Decido reportar el problema con los del soporte tecnico de HostGator el cual no me explica lo que realmente esta pasando y me dice que haga un ticket para que en el transcurso de 24 sea resuelto mi problema.

Yo desesperado porque pienso que me han hackeado busco informacion en la red y me topo con esta herramienta llamada Neighbors Host que sirve para saber las paginas webs que están alojadas en el servidor donde tienes la tuya osea, tus vecinos por asi decir.

Pongo la URL de mi blog y me muestra las webs que estan alojadas en el host donde tengo mi blog. Acceso a ellas he intento entrar a cpanel y me tiran el mismo error, lo que me llego a la mente en ese momento fue “Hackearon todo el host”.

En el tira y jala me dieron las 12:45 de la noche y me tenia que ir a trabajar a la mañana siguiente y lo que hice fue desistir para seguir buscando respuesta hoy en la mañana: Cuando me despierto lo primero que hago es ir a mi PC para ver que había pasado con mi blog y mi sorpresa ha sido que todo había vuelto a la normalidad e intento entrar al cPanel para ver los log de las conexiones entrantes de la noche para ver que había pasado y me topo con esto:

Una actualización de cPanel de mi cuenta de HostGator, en la cual han añadido unas opciones super interesantes, una de ellas es la de Make Money by Referring US. La cual premia al que recomienda los planes que ofrece en su web, entre otras opciones que te dejarian boquiabierto.

Si estas pensando comprar un host o alguien cercano a ti para empesar algún proyecto como blog, pagina de negocios o uno que otro negocio en Internet te recomiendo este host con los ojos cerrados y créeme porque yo no soy nuevo en esto ya que llevo unos años subiendo webs a Internet y ahora con este blog fue que conocí este host que ha sido la mejor inversión que he hecho.
